Drama Club Audition FAQs
What is cost involved for Drama Club?
$100 for the entire year
Are payment plans available?
You can pay $50 by October 1st and $50 by November 1st or you can pay it all at once.
When are auditions?
Auditions will be 9/26 at 3:45PM and October 4th at 4:00PM.
Where are auditions?
Auditions will be held in the music room.
How long will auditions be?
Approximately 1 ½ hours, depending on how many students audition
Do parents need to be at auditions?
No, parents do not have to attend.
What is the time commitment for the show? When will rehearsals be?
Rehearsals will be before school on Mondays or Tuesdays, 1 hour a week. The week before the show is called "tech week" and will require a sizable time commitment. Please see the posted rehearsal schedule for details.
When will casts be announced?
Casts will be announced by October 7th.
What should students wear to auditions?
School uniform or appropriate clothing can be worn
Do students need to prepare/memorize specific audition materials?
Yes, depending on the role they want. Audition materials are posted online for the students to utilize. There will be copies available at auditions.
Will any costume pieces need to be provided by parents (i.e. shoes, etc)?
All students will need black clothes (t-shirt or tank top, shorts) to go under their costumes and closed-toed shoes that they can dance in. Costumes will be specific to each student’s role. More information about costumes will go out after casting decisions are made.
Do parents need to be involved with the program? If so, does it count for volunteer hours?
Parents are not required to be involved but are very much encouraged. There are a variety of needs from set building to costumes. Volunteering in the drama program does count for volunteer hours. All volunteers on campus must be OASIS approved.
If my child has to miss a rehearsal, will they be removed from the show?
No, but they may not be able to perform in a scene if they miss rehearsals for it. Absences need to be approved in advance. In case of emergency, please let Mrs. Faughn know ASAP.

Performances are 2/23 and 2/24 at 6pm for Coconut Cast. Banana Cast performs 3/2 and 3/3 at 6 pm.

Yes. The cost will be $6 for adults and $4 for children. Tickets will be available for purchase closer to the show dates.
